You are right about the Japanese being campers during the Winter season lol. I was raised in Toronto Canada and here the homes are much like what you described in New York: Central Heating, etc. My relatives in Tokyo always send me these Japanese heating patch and other winter camping gears whenever Winter comes. Most of the time their products don't even heat enough in the standards of a North American winter so I barely used them haha. I found your video funny and true.

I actually lived in Japan myself and experienced these differences. But you should know the Japanese are REALLY interested in other cultures also. They asked me hundreds of questions and were eager to learn about the culture in Holland (where I'm from). What I like to say, mutual interest is the best. Like I loved to learn from them and see things like they do, but I told them stuff about myself and all. Specially the teenagers apreciated that. And its true, they accept more from foreigners.
