Unemployment then shot back up in 1938 because FDR was foolish enough to CUT SPENDING and basically rescind many New Deal programs, erasing a few years' worth of job gains.

Then it SPENT that money. Your post suggests that war bonds magically created jobs from nowhere. But you've forgotten that it was the U.S. government that used the capital raised on war bonds and SPENT it on the military and building military supplies. This process, in turn, created jobs.

Who bought those bonds? American?s did. Once jobs were created money started flowing, which created more jobs. Massive spending by the government has never been a cure all. Also, I love how you brought up Roosevelt loading the supreme court, because i actually wrote a paper on this very issue. He attempted to appoint an additional judge. Heres the twist, he never intended to actually succeed, and even his own party wouldnt let him. After the whole situation, a few court judges resigned! Roosevelt shifted the entire country to the left, he literally ran on the platform saying "We dont know what we're going to do, but we're going to do something" The first thing he did was pass the new deal, which closly was followed by the second new deal. Most of the the programs were very bennificial, one included social security. There were those like the AAA which actually hurt farmers, so those programs were abolished. What really got us out of the depression was masssive deficit spending.

I saw multiple doctors and thousands of dollars in co-pays later didnt do shit for me. I came to europe for treatment and finally found relief for 200 dollars (thats covered everything from tests, visits and drugs for a month. I am happy. Think whatever you want. but in my personal experience, i will try never to see an american doc again

Andy Brickley is one of the worst color guys I have ever seen. I usually will see him on versus for the nationally televised games and he is ALWAYS pro Boston. You are doing a nationally televised game! YOU HAVE TO BE BIAS! Versus should never air a game and use one of the teams play by play or color guy.
